Annual Puntzi Lake Fishing Derby
2021 Event Hosted at Woodlands Fishin Resort
Our annual fishing derby is hosted by one of the three resorts on Puntzi Lake, which takes place on the weekend following the July 1 (Canada Day) holiday.
This year’s derby takes place on Friday, July 8, Saturday, July 9 and July 10. Dinner will take place on Saturday.
- Derby tickets are $25 each.
- Non-participants are welcome to purchase dinner tickets for $15 each
- Prizes for the largest fish in (Kokanee or Trout) each of the two participant categories (men and women). We will be handing out prizes on Sunday at 1:00 pm. Kids or Adults will be able to win the cash prizes.
- Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, the prize hand-out and the dinner will be held a little differently this year. We will post the rules and how dinner and prizes will be given out when you book your Derby tickets.
- Registration for the derby will also be available onsite at the start of the day, Friday, July 8, 2021.
