The Best RV Camping in the Cariboo Chilcotin

Scenic RV campsite at Puntzi Lake surrounded by forest and lake views in the Cariboo Chilcotin region of British Columbia

RV camping doesn’t get much better than this. If you’re feeling like it’s time to unplug and just breathe for a bit, Woodlands Fishin Resort might be just what you’re looking for. Tucked away on the peaceful shores of Puntzi Lake in the Cariboo Chilcotin, this place has a way of slowing things down… in the best possible way.

If you travel by RV and love waking up to the sound of water lapping against the shore, you're going to feel right at home here. Whether you're casting a line early in the morning, sipping coffee with a view of the lake, or sharing stories around the fire at night, it’s the kind of place that reminds you why you hit the road in the first place.

Some guests come here for the fishing, hoping to reel in a big one. Others come just to spend time with family, breathe fresh mountain air, and reconnect with the outdoors. No pressure, no schedule. Just you, nature, and all the time you need.

We’ve got everything set up to make your stay easy and comfortable. And what really makes this place special is the people.

Lakeside RV Campground: Stay, Relax, Explore

Our little gem? A 12-site, all-grass RV campground right on the edge of beautiful Puntzi Lake in the Cariboo Chilcotin. It’s not just a place to park. It's where mornings start with colourful sunrises over the water and nights end under a sky full of stars. Simple, peaceful, and just the way we like it.

What really makes this spot shine is Puntzi Lake itself. The lake is clear, quiet, and full of fish. Perfect for anyone who loves to cast a line. You’re surrounded by untouched wilderness, so it’s easy to just slow down and soak it all in.

We’ve set up two types of RV sites so you can choose what works best for you:

  • 6 lakefront RV sites with water and power right by the water with unbeatable views

  • 6 full hookup RV sites with power, water, and sewer everything you need for a comfy stay

  • Grassy tent sites if you’re more into classic camping

Everyone staying here gets free access to our boat launch and four docks, whether you're out fishing or just hanging out by the lake. There’s also a fish cleaning station, clean washrooms, picnic tables, and fire pits for those cozy nights around the fire.

Families will love the playground for the kids. And yes, we’re pet-friendly (just keep them on a leash). If you’ve got an ATV, you’re in luck: there’s easy backroad access to nearby trails. Need to stay connected? We’ve got Wi-Fi. Need to empty the tanks? We’ve got a sani dump too.

And if you’ve always wanted to try the RV life but don’t have one, check out our Fifth Wheel Rental. It’s fully stocked with bedding, towels, dishes: everything you need. It’s set up on a full-service site and has a queen bed, a convertible dinette, and space for a family of four.
