Annual Puntzi Lake Fishing Derby

2021 event hosted by Woodlands Fishin Resort!

Our annual fishing derby is hosted every year by one of the three resorts on Puntzi Lake, which takes place on the weekend following the July 1st ( Canada Day) holiday. The 2021 derby takes place on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10, Sunday, July 11, with dinner being held on Saturday evening. We are excited to be hosting this year’s fishing derby at Woodlands Fishin Resort.

• Derby tickets $25 each
• Non-participants are welcome to purchase dinner tickets for $15 each.
• Prizes for the largest fish in ( Kokanee or Trout) in each of the two participant categories (men, women) with the prizes being handed out on Sunday at 1:00 pm. Kids or Adults will be able to win the cash prizes.
• Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, the prize hand-out and the dinner will be held a little differently this year. We will post the rules and how dinner and prizes are to be given out when you book your Derby tickets.
• Contact us at Woodlands Fishin Resort to book a campsite or cabin for your derby stay.
• Registration for the derby will also be available onsite on the start day, Friday, July 9, 2021.
